Sapphire Pegasus is expanding its activities overseas to the Americas this year, and made its introduction in the Caribbean. In June (13-15) during the Caribbean Aviation Meetup conference on the island St. Maarten in the Dutch Caribbean, four trophies were awarded for the most outstanding
- Country Promotion to the Bahamas Islands
- Woman in Aviation to Deborah Aharon from Provo Air Center
- Online Networker to Adam Twidell of PrivateFly,
- Lifetime Achievement to Graham Stephenson.
In sharp contrast to our Gala Evening in Prague, the Caribbean Award Evening on St.Maarten was held during a dinner on the white sands of a beach under palm trees and the tropical skies. The awards were presented by our Member of the Board of Advisors, Bud Slabbaert and by aviation and travel journalist Seth Miller from New York.
In St.Maarten, the Awards were presented during the Award Evening of the Meetup conference on June 13 at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort.
Sapphire Pegasus Caribbean for 2017 will be held in June 12th 2018.
